A.P., SAT and PSAT Information

We will be testing all students in 10th and 11th grade using the PSAT on October 1st.  This is free to all students.  The PSAT/NMSQT Program provides valuable resources that help students prepare for the SAT and take important first steps toward college. It allows eligible eleventh grade students to enter scholarship and recognition programs, and provides younger students in grades 10 & 11 with early feedback on academic skills they can work to improve.

For your convenience, the District will host an SAT test day in April to give all juniors an opportunity to take this assessment. Note: The district will not pay for the SAT test; students will submit payment when they sign up through each school's Counseling Department.

We strongly encourage all students who enrolled in an Advanced Placement course to sit for the Advanced Placement Exam.  Even if they are a senior and have already been accepted into a college, the experience of taking the cumulative exam is an invaluable experience that will provide students with an opportunity to practice taking a final as they will in college.
