Special Services

Welcome to the Department of Special Services!
The Black Horse Pike Regional School District takes great pride in the quality, care, and dedication that define the special education supports and services provided to students who require Special Education and/or related services. Across each of our district’s three high schools, teams of highly skilled and compassionate professionals work collaboratively to offer a comprehensive array of programs and supports, thoughtfully designed to meet the unique strengths and needs of every student. Our commitment is rooted in ensuring that students are supported academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally, while maximizing opportunities for learning within the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).

As the needs of students continue to evolve, our district remains steadfast in its pursuit of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery. We are deeply committed to building meaningful, trusting partnerships with families and value collaboration as a cornerstone of student success. We look forward to establishing and maintaining positive, lasting relationships  as we work together in the best interests of our students. If your child is experiencing significant academic, social-emotional, behavioral, or functional challenges that may be impacting their educational progress, we encourage you to contact your school's Child Study Team. Our team members are dedicated to working closely with students, families, and staff to identify appropriate supports and services that promote positive outcomes and help every student reach their full potential.
