S.T.A.R. stands for Students Taking Active Roles, and is a partnership between the high school and the United States Army. The expertise and resources of local US Army Soldiers are leveraged to help students develop skills and present opportunities that will enable and encourage them to take leadership roles in their own life, within their families, their school and community. An emphasis will be placed on graduating high school while both exploring and creating enriching postsecondary options.
