A. PERSONNEL
1. Co-curricular Appointments
The Superintendent recommends the persons shown onSCHEDULE A be appointed to the listed co-curricular positions at the stipends shown for the 2013-2014 school year and are paid for time served in the positions. Approval is recommended.
2. Resolution for Emergency Hiring Nothing to Report
We are now required to submit to the County Education Office each month a list of persons we have hired that have not yet received final approval of their criminal history check. The Superintendent recommends approval of the Resolution shown onSCHEDULE B that lists those persons and the positions to which they have been appointed.
3. Appointment: Per Diem Substitute Staff
The persons listed onSCHEDULE Care recommended for employment as per diem substitute staff for the 2012-2013 school year, pending completion of all pre-employment requirements. Certificates held and compensation rates are also shown. Approval is recommended.
4. Approval: Professional Development/School BusinessRequests
The Superintendent recommends approval of the Professional Development/School Business requests shown onSCHEDULE D. Details of these requests and costs to the district are shown on the schedule.
5. Reappointment & New Appointments of District Professional Services 2013-2014
The Superintendent recommends the appointment of district professional services for the
2013- 2014 school year.

6. Retirement: Professional Staff
Mr. William Reilley, a Health/Physical Education Teacher at Triton High School has submitted a
letter indicating that he will be retiring effective June 30, 2013. Mr. Reilley has been an employee
of the District for thirty six years.The Superintendent recommends acceptance of this resignation,
for the purpose of retirement, with regret.
7. Transfers-Professional & Support Staff (Voluntary)
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval of the voluntary transfer
for Triton, Highland and Timber Creek professional staff, effective September 1, 2013,
as listed on SCHEDULE I.
8. Approval: Change in Assignment Support Staff
The Superintendent recommends the Board of Education approval for the change in
assignment for M. Shuster from Night Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Triton to
Daytime Foreman at Highland High School. Details are shown on SCHEDULE J.
9. Approval: Increment Withheld
The Superintendent recommends the Board of Education withhold an increment for F.N. for
the 2013-2014 school year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE K.
10. Appointment: Lead Teachers
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for the appointment of the
employees listed on the attached schedule as Lead Teachers for the 2013-2014 school year.
Details are shown on SCHEDULE L.
11. Appointment: Professional Staff
The Superintendent recommends the appointment of the new hires for the school year
2013-2014. Details of the assignment and salary are shown on SCHEDULE M.
12. Appointment: Support Staff – 12 month Secretarial & 1:1 Aide/Job Coach
The Superintendent recommends the appointment of the employees listed onSCHEDULE N
13. Appointment: Summer ESY Special Education Aides
The Superintendent recommends the new employees on the attached schedule be appointed
as Special Education Aides for the Summer ESY Program for the 2013-2014 school
year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE O.
14. Approval: Change in Assignment
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval of the change in assignment
for Nicole Lauri, a Special Education Teacher at Triton, to Student Assistance Coordinator at
Timber Creek High School for 2013-2014 school year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE R.
15. Approval: Stipend/Student Activities Account
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for the following
staff members to receive a stipend from the Student Activities Account for the
2012-2013 school year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE P.
16. Appointment: Triton Principal
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for the following staff
member as Principal at Triton High School for the 2013-2014 school year. Details are
shown on SCHEDULE Q.
17. Approval Family Leave of Absence
The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for M. Sandlin, a
Science Teacher at Triton, has requested a Family Leave of Absence, beginning
May 15, 2013 through June 24, 2013 without pay. Her anticipated return to work is
September 1, 2013.
The Superintendent recommends the Board of Education withhold an increment for J.K.
for the 2013-2014 school year. Details on SCHEDULE S.
19. Approval Employment Contract 2013-2014
The Superintendent recommends the Board of Education approval of the contract for the Director
of Special Services & Special Education. Details are
shown on the schedule.

1. Special Education – Out of District Placements 2012-13 Nothing to Report
For the school year 2013-14, the Child Study Team has placed the classified students listed onSCHEDULE E in special education institutions believed to be best staffed and equipped to deal with the specific learning disabilities identified for these students. Acknowledgement of the Board of Education for these placements is requested.
2. Harassment Intimidation & Bullying (HIB) Investigations Nothing to Report
Be it resolved that the Black Horse Pike Regional School District Board of Education
acknowledges that the HIB Investigations, were presented within the Executive Session
portion of the May 16, 2013 Board of Education Meeting by the Superintendent of
Schools and the District Anti Bullying Coordinator. Details are shown on SCHEDULE F.
3. Overnight Field Trip:
Date of Event: 9:00 a.m., August 3, 2013 – through 12:00 p.m. August 5, 2013
Nature of Event: Overnight – National Cheer Association Camp – University of Delaware,
