A.   PERSONNEL

1.          Co-curricular Appointments       Nothing to Report

The Superintendent recommends the persons shown on SCHEDULE A  be appointed to the listed co-curricular positions at the stipends shown for the 2015-2016 school year and are paid for time served in the positions.   Approval is recommended.

2.          Resolution for Emergency Hiring         Nothing to Report

We are now required to submit each month to the County Education Office a list of
persons we have hired that have not yet received final approval of their criminal history
check.  The Superintendent recommends approval of the Resolution shown on
SCHEDULE B that lists those persons and the positions to which they have been appointed.

 

3.          Appointment: Per Diem Substitute Staff                      

The persons listed on SCHEDULE C are recommended for employment as per diem
substitute staff for the 2014-2015 school year, pending completion of all pre-employment
requirements. Certificates held and compensation rates are also shown. Approval is recommended.
 

 

4.          Approval: Professional Development/School Business Requests

The Superintendent recommends approval of the Professional Development/School Business requests shown on SCHEDULE D.  Details of these requests and costs to the district are shown on the schedule.
 






5.      Approval: School Anti-Bullying Specialists and District Anti-Bullying Coordinator Compensation 2015-2016 School Year

 

The Superintendent recommends approval, as per the attached exhibit, for the compensation of the district's School Anti-Bullying Specialists and District Anti-Bullying Coordinator for services provided beyond the regular working day. Details are shown on SCHEDULE G.

      




 6.        Reappointment of District Professional Services 2015-2016

The Superintendent recommends the appointment of district professional services for the           
2015-2016 school year.

7.        Superintendent’s Recommendations for Non-renewal of Employment Contracts

 

Be it resolved that the Board of Education does hereby approve the Superintendent’s recommendations for non-renewal of employment contracts for the school year 2015-2016.
Details are shown on SCHEDULE L.

 




  8.      Superintendent’s Recommendations for Reduction in Force

 

Be it resolved that the Board of Education does hereby approve the Superintendent’s                   
recommendations for reduction in force for the school year 2015-2016. Details are shown on SCHEDULE M.

 



  9.     Appointment: Science Teachers-Summer Work 

The Superintendent recommends the appointment of the employees as Science Teachers – Summer Work for the 2015-2016 school year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE N.

                 

  10.      Appointment: Home Instruction Tutors 

The Superintendent recommends the appointment of Home Instruction Tutors for the 2015-2016 school year. Details are shown on SCHEDULE O.

 



  11.      Approval Resignation

E. K., an ABA Home Therapist for the Black Horse Pike Regional School District, has submitted
a letter of resignation, to be effective on June 30, 2015.  The Superintendent recommends
acceptance of the resignation.

T. R.,
a 1:1 Special Education Aide for Triton High School, has submitted a letter of resignation, to
be effective on June 23, 2015.  The Superintendent recommends acceptance of the resignation.



12.     Transfer-Professional Staff (Voluntary & Involuntary)

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval of the voluntary and involuntary transfers for Triton, Highland and Timber Creek professional staff, effective September 1, 2015, as listed on SCHEDULE P.


 

 13.     Change in Assignment: Support Staff 

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval of the change in assignment for the individual listed on the schedule for the 2015-2016 school year.  Details are shown on SCHEDULE Q.





14.     Approval: Family Medical Leave, Family Leave and Medical Leave             

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for Family Medical Leave and
Family Leave for the following employee:


         M.C.,
a teacher at Timber Creek High School, has requested an extension of medical leave
         through May 27th, 2015.



15.   Approval: Student Teachers 

The Superintendent recommends permission be granted for the following Rider University student to serve her student teaching assignment for the Fall Semester of 2015-2016.

16.        Appointment: Support Staff

 17.       Approval Retirement

Mr. Wm. Ebert, a Social Studies teacher from Timber Creek School has submitted
a letter to the  Board of Education indicating he will retire effective July 1, 2015. 
Mr. Ebert has been an employee of the district for sixteen years. The Superintendent
recommends acceptance of this resignation, for the purpose of retirement, with regret.


18.      Approval District Salary Guide 2015-2018 

The superintendent requests approval of the salary guides for support staff as shown
on the following schedule:

  19.      Approval: Job Description

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for the following Job Description: Part-Time Custodian.

  20.     Approval: Rescind Substitute Nurse

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval to rescind the appointment of Jeanine Oxenberg
as a Substitute School Nurse.


  21.     Approval: Stipend for Vice Principal Secretaries

The Superintendent recommends Board of Education approval for the following Vice
Principal Secretaries to receive a stipend for the 2015-2016 school year. Details are
shown on SCHEDULE AA.

23.    Reappointment: District Coordinator of School Safety and Security

 

The Superintendent requests the Board of Education approve the appointment of Thomas Ambrose to serve as District Coordinator of School Safety and Security
effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 with a stipend of $5000.

1.             Special Education – Out of District Placements 2014-15   Nothing to Report

For the school year 2014-15, the Child Study Team has placed the classified students listed on SCHEDULE E in special education institutions believed to be best staffed and equipped to deal with the specific learning disabilities identified for these students.  Acknowledgement of the Board of Education for these placements is requested.






2.        Harassment Intimidation & Bullying (HIB) Investigations

Be it resolved that the Black Horse Pike Regional School District Board of Education acknowledges that the HIB Investigations were presented within the Executive Session portion of the May 7, 2015 Board of Education Meeting by the Superintendent of Schools and the District Anti Bullying Coordinator.  Details are shown on SCHEDULE F.
