Chromebook Repairs 2020-21

HIGHLAND CHROMEBOOK REPAIR PROCEDURE: (revised 11/25/20)

HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK REPAIR FORM

 

Procedure Guidelines:

 

- Students will ring the bell or go to the main lobby to notify the individual at the front desk they are there for Chromebook repair

- Students will be asked to fill out the repair form located at the lobby desk/vestibule of the main entrance of the building or by printing out the form from here: HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK REPAIR FORM

- Students will be given a loaner while their device is being repaired

- Students will be notified through their school issued Gmail account that their Chromebook is repaired (email subject will read “CHROMEBOOK REPAIR”)

- Students will be given 5 school days upon the initial email to pick up the repaired Chromebook

- If the Chromebook is not picked up within the 5 school days of the email the loaner will be remotely disabled until the loaner is returned to school. 

 

- Upon picking up a repaired Chromebook, the student MUST return the repair form to the individual at the front desk. This repair form is a record of device exchange and/or pick up.
