Triton Chromebook Repairs 2020 Temporary


Triton High School Temporary Chromebook Procedures- Remote Students

This plan applies to students who are fully remote or who are on remote instruction for that day.

  1. Come to the school through the Main Entrance.  Instruct security staff that you have a broken device.  The security desk will buzz you in and screen you.
  2. The security staff will provide a loaner device to the student and log the broken device into a Google Form.
  3. The student/family will be contacted when their original device is ready for pick up.  Pick up will take place at the front security desk.

 

Triton High School Temporary Chromebook Procedures- In-Person Students

This plan applies to the students who are present in the building for the day.

  1. Teachers in the first period will ask if there are any students who are experiencing problems with their device.  This information will be logged in a spreadsheet.
  2. Administrators/Supervisors will collect the broken Chromebook during the first period and will be brought to the building tech for repairs.
  3. Repaired devices will be returned to the student in whichever class they are currently in.  They will be delivered to the classroom.
  4. Students whose Chromebooks can not be immediately repaired will be issued a loaner device temporarily while their device is further repaired.  The student/family will be contacted when their original device is ready for pick up.
