Can a cadet be removed for not wearing the uniform?

Posted by:

Yes. Uniform wear is a mandatory part of the program and this is documented in our cadet guide. In addition, willingly failing to wear the uniform is a failure to follow a directive/disobeying a command. However, if there is a mitigating circumstance such as a legitimate accident or an injury that prevents the wear of an item such as the required shoes, we will not hold that against the cadet. Additionally, a cadet that can't legitimately wear the uniform will be inspected on dress and appearance standards, which include inspection of haircut, nails and clothing without tears and the removal of piercings
