On January 6, 2011, Governor Chris Christie signed into law the “Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights”, which has altered the manner in which school districts address suspected incidents of Harassment, Intimidation, and/or Bullying (H.I.B.). This new law went into effect on September 1, 2011.

The Black Horse Pike Regional School District is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students, free from the threat of H.I.B. Consistent with the provisions identified within the “Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights” the Black Horse Pike Regional School District has identified staff/personnel to investigate suspected cases of H.I.B., as well as to develop potential activities/programs aimed at H.I.B. prevention.

If you or your child has experienced, witnessed, or suspects a potential case of H.I.B., you are encouraged to report this immediately to your child’s building principal. Please use the HIB incident reporting form for families under "forms". This is to be submitted to the school principal. This can be submitted anonymously.
