• Happy 3rd marking period!!  The year is going quickly and lots of things are approaching.  It's scheduling season and students are being called down to Counseling to begin picking classes for next year.  This is a good time to discuss future career goals and plans for after you graduate next year.  Not sure what you may want to pursue upon graduation?  That's ok!  We're hosting our annual Career Day for the Junior class on April 6th.  You'll have the opportunity to talk with a multitude of representatives from various career clusters that may peak your interest.

The Black Horse Pike Regional School District celebrates Black History Month by educating our students about the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans throughout American history.  We do this throughout the school year, as African American history is our collective history, but celebrating African American benefaction during February is particularly salient.  Each high school has planned activities with the help of the History Club, African American Culture Club, and other staff/student organizations.  Highland will be having an assembly on February 10th. Schools also have African American literature displays in the Library Media Centers and students have created art galleries rich in African American influences.

You can expand your knowledge and understanding of African American history by visiting local places in New Jersey.  We invite you to visit these links/sites:
