The Black Horse Pike Regional School District is committed to making a difference in your child’s education. As a result, all students at Highland Regional high school will be given the opportunity for extra help during their Common Lunch Time or during study hall in Mathematics.
Math Empower Hour - After School
Tutoring will occur Monday and Wednesdays 2 - 3:30 PM in E-102 and on Tuesday and Thursdays 2 - 4 PM in A-128. The tutoring program will run from October to June. If your child needs help with homework, studying for a test, or developing their Mathematics skills, this is a great opportunity to improve learning. Snacks and refreshments are served.
Literacy Café - After School
An after school Literacy Café will be held in G-100-C on Monday and Wednesdays 2 - 3:30 and Tuesday and Thursdays 2 - 4 PM. Students can work on homework, research papers, study for a test and hold an after school book club where students will read selected titles and participate in a group discussion. Snacks and beverages will be provided during the meetings. Snacks and refreshments are served.
Lit Lab- During School and Tartan Time
Students are able to seek extra help in Reading and Writing during Open Tutoring twice a week during Tartan Time.
Evening Counseling Appointments
School counselors and vice principals have been assigned to specifically assist in assuring that students and parents are aware and taking advantage of all the Title I services. Counselors are available by appointment after school and in the evenings.
