Chromebook Repair Procedure:
If a student is having a Chromebook issue during class, they are to use the loaners in the classrooms. During Mustang Time, students will come down to the Tech Repair room in the LMC if they are having Chromebook issues. If we have parts, and it is something we can quickly fix (screen replacement, battery reset, keyboard replacement, etc...) then my tech club students will make the repairs and return the Chromebook after it is fixed. If we are unable to fix it right away, we will give the student a loaner while we ship their original Chromebook to Dell to have them repair it. Students will be emailed when their Chromebook is back, repaired, and ready to be picked up. If they do not come down to pick up their Chromebook after a couple days after receiving that email, I will either reach out to them again and try to schedule a time for them to come to my office, or disable the loaner Chromebook so they have no choice but to come see me.
