Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Black Horse Pike Regional School District is committed to making a difference in your child’s education. As a result, all students at Triton and Highland Regional high schools will be given the opportunity for extra help during their Common Lunch Time or during study hall in Mathematics. Students are eligible for this program if they received a “D” or “F” in Math, if they did not score proficient in the NJSLA.
MathematicsTutoring During School Hours
Lunch tutoring will occur during periods 3 of the morning wheel, common period, and periods 5 & 6 of the afternoon wheel Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The tutoring program will run from September to June and take place in the Math Tutoring Room in the LMC. If your child needs help with homework, studying for a test, or developing their Mathematics skills, this is a great opportunity to improve learning. Snacks and refreshments are served.
Math Empower Hour
Students are able to seek extra help in math after school during the Math Empower Hour in the Math Tutoring Room in B09 on Monday (2:00-3:30), Wednesday (2:00-4:00), and Thursday (2:00-3:30). Snacks and refreshments are served.Science Empower Hour

Literacy Cafe- After School
An after school Literacy Café will be held on Tuesdays where students can work on homework, research papers, study for a test and hold an after school book club where students will read selected titles and participate in a group discussion. Snacks and beverages will be provided during the meetings. Lit Cafe is held in the LMC Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and Wednesday from 2:00pm - 3:30pm. Snacks and refreshments are served.Lit Lab- During School and Mustang Time
Students are able to seek extra help in Reading and Writing during Open Tutoring twice a week during Mustang Time.
Counseling Appointments
School counselors and vice principals have been assigned to specifically assist in assuring that students and parents are aware and taking advantage of all the Title I services. Counselors are available by appointment and recommend parent conferences.Be sure that your child takes advantage of this opportunity. With your collaboration, your child’s success is just a tutoring session away!
