Summer School opportunities will be returning to the Black Horse Pike Regional School District this summer.
Dates: July 8 - August 5 - No School on Fridays or July 4
Students: Only Highland, Timber Creek and Triton students are eligible to attend
Location: Summer school will be housed at HIGHLAND REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL this summer
Eligibility: Students who earn final grades grades between 50-64% are eligible for remediation. Your child's school counselor will let you know if you are eligible for summer school at HHS, eligible for outside, online options, or both.
Session 1 (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM): English 9, English 11, Geometry, Physics CP, Physical Education, Biology
Session 2 (11:30 AM- 1:30 PM): English 10, Algebra I, Algebra II, Physics CP, Physical Education, Chemistry
ORIGINAL CREDIT session: (9:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Transportation: Transportation will NOT be provided.
Cell phones/electronic devices: All electronic devices are prohibited.
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. Barring extreme circumstances and emergencies, students will be granted one unexcused absence.
Tuition: Remediation courses are $100.00 per course ** Reduced rates will apply for special circumstances. Students can take one course each session. Courses not offered at HHS can still be remediated using an approved online provider. Contact your student's school counselor for more information.
Original Credit courses will cost $200.00 ($100.00 for SEM courses) ** (two course maximum)
Payment: Payment will be made following registration. An email notification will be sent the week of July 1, 2019. Options will include payment via each family's MY SCHOOL BUCKS account, check or money order made payable to BLACK HORSE PIKE REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.
