    The STEAM Capstone Program allows students to identify and research an real-world problem and develop a unique solution that involves the 5 subjects of the STEAM acronym: Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics.  Students who enroll in this program are higher achieving students who are generally self-motivated and are interested or prepared to do extra-curricular research and academic work leading to a Capstone project which would be presented at the end of the year at Camden County College this spring.  The goal is to cultivate a more holistic and well-rounded approach to education that prepares students for the complexities of the modern world, where creativity and innovation are increasingly valued in many professional fields. Some of the benefits of joining and completing a Capstone Project include:
     
    2-3 district-wide trips and experiences, such as iFly, and Jefferson Hospital
    2.5 high school credits
    Special recognition at graduation
    Exposure to content covered outside the school's normal curriculum.
