    History Club Officers 2020-2021
    Veterans Day
    The History Club meets to discuss current event issues and to organize various activities throughout the year such as lobby displays, spirit days, the student Talent Show, and school-wide videos and assemblies.  We hope to increase student involvement in their communities and at school.  We hope to raise the level of awareness of different historical events and themes for both Timber Creek students and staff. 
    ​September - September 11th Ceremony, Club Carnival, First Meeting and Back to School Night
    October - Gandhi's International Day of Non-Violence Lobby Display, 8th Grade Club Carnival, Chargers Wear Pink Spirit Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities 
    ​November - TC Talent Show, Veterans Day Lobby Display, Red, White, and Blue Day at TC, and Veterans Day donation drive
    December - Holiday Celebration and Trivia Contest
    January - MLK Day of Service
    February - Black History Month Quotes of the Day on the Morning Jolt and videos and "Love Your History" Lobby Display
    March - Women's History Month Quotes of the Day on the Morning Jolt and Women's History Lobby Display and videos
    May - Memorial Day activities, Educator of the Year Ceremony sponsor, Activity Awards Banquet, and Senior Awards Banquet
    June - End of the Year Celebration, Next Year Officer Elections
